Christmas market research

Today I went to Spitalfields Market in East London to do some research for the group Christmas Market project that is going on now. (Read more about what the project is about.) I took pictures and notes of the products, prices and customers that I saw there.

CUSTOMERS AT THE MARKET:

Most of the customers seemed to be tourists, (based on their accents). There were people from all age groups, but more adults and young adults than kids.

EXAMPLES OF PRODUCTS SOLD AT THE MARKET AND PRICES:
  • t-shirts (print):   £ 8-15

  • scarfs:                    £ 10-15
  • LP’s:                        £ 1
  • music posters:     £ 3 (or 2 for £ 5)
  • posters:                  £ 15
