This week’s subject of the Thought of the Week was Hannah Slaney, a London based photographer who shoots still life, interiors, e-commerce and events. I tried to find a picture of Hannah Slaney but could only find pictures that she has taken, not a single picture of herself. I also looked up what “still life” actually really means because I had never heard the term before and was a bit confused about it.
“A still life is a work of art depicting mostly inanimate subject matter, typically commonplace objects which may be either natural or man-made.” -Wikipedia
Next I look through her website to see her work and what kind of projects she has worked on, (see her website here). I’m not sure about her style. Her photographs just look so everyday to me. It’s not the style that I would personally like my photos to be.
